Pub closures in 2026: the national picture

This week on the pub market
From the 1530 pub listings we collected from specialist agents in the week of 21 October 2026.
We started tracking on 21 October 2026, so week-on-week changes appear from the next weekly update. A pub being sold, let or taken off an agent's website is not the same as a closure: most are sold or let as going concerns, and some are simply withdrawn. We cannot tell which from the listing alone, so we report the counts as they are.

A dash means there is no earlier week to compare with yet. We only compare agents we collected successfully in both weeks, so a website being down never shows up as pubs leaving the market.
